  • Lie flat on your back, bend your legs, feet flat on the ground and near your bum.

  • · Place two fingers below, at or above the belly button with your palm facing you

  • · Pull in the abdominal muscles and raise your head from the floor

  • · The two sides of the abdominal muscles should close together on your fingers

  • · If the gap is greater than two fingers than abdominal separation (diastasis) is present and doming may occur.
